Love pizza? Meat Lovers Pizza Mini Shells are fun, delicious appetizers that will be a hit at your next party.
Ingredients
- 2 packages (15 count, each) Athens® Phyllo Shells
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 30 slices pepperoni
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/3 cup bacon bits
- 1/3 cup fully cooked sausage crumbles, such as Jimmy Dean®
- 1 teaspoon oregano
Directions
Place 1/4 teaspoon pizza sauce in each shell and press one piece of pepperoni down into the sauce, lining the inside of shell. In a small bowl, mix together remaining sauce, provolone cheese, bacon bits, sausage crumbles and oregano.
Place filling inside the pepperoni. Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
